The Tasmanian Poetry Festival is on again – a smorgasbord of great local, national and international poets and poetry over the entire weekend – 30th September – 1st October 2022, in Launceston.
Along with pre-Festival workshops, the classic Launceston Poetry Cup and several themed sessions with plenty of readings, a highlight will be the announcement of the Andrew Hardy Youth Poetry Award. I’ve heard that the quality of entries was “excellent”, and a little anthology has been produced to celebrate them all. It will be available at the Festival ($5).
